New Hampshire - May 2005

We had planned our trip so that we could visit an old friend (Xach Kibbie) who now lived in Nottingham, NH. We got a chance to meet Xach's wife, Melissah, and their two children, Ixaac and Maeva, and have dinner with them at the Muddy River Smokehouse. The next day before leaving Portsmouth for good, we stopped at Strawbery Banke, a historic waterfront neighborhood with 45 buildings from 1695 to 1955. We also stopped by the U.S.S. Albacore, built in 1952 it served as an experimental prototype for modern submarines. Unfortunately, it was closed on Tuesdays, so we only got to see the outside.
