Sifu Dan Brazitis
Sifu Dan Brazitis brings a total of 30 years of martial arts teaching experience to his kwoon in Longmont, Colorado. Sifu Brazitis started his martial arts career at the age of 15 when he began training in a school that taught jujitsu and Modified Wing Chun together. Intrigued by Wing Chun's unique advantages, Sifu Brazitis continued his training there and obtained the rank of Shodan (1st degree black belt).
One of his instructors, a highly respected jujitsu/Modified Wing Chun martial artist and instructor, named Sifu Jerry Bolding, began training in the Traditional Wing Chun system taught by Grand Master Cheung. Following the lead of Sifu Bolding, Sifu Brazitis began training in the Traditional Wing Chun and was impressed by the completeness of the traditional system.
Sifu Brazitis completed his Instructor's Grade under Grand Master Cheung in 1993. Since 1986, Sifu Brazitis has traveled across the U.S. to attend multiple seminars presented by Grand Master Cheung. Sifu Brazitis also traveled to Australia, in 2000, to train at the main branch of the World Wing Chun Kung Fu Association. Sifu Brazitis currently holds the rank of Provisional Master Level 5.
Along with continuing his own growth as a kung fu practitioner, Sifu Brazitis has trained five people to the level of instructor in his school.
