Threnody (Nodi) was the first cat we adopted.
In July of 1999, Julie was working at FirstBank when a teller brought Nodi into work, to try to find someone to adopt her.
The teller's sister had brought Nodi home22 with her, but they were not allowed to keep her. We knew if we didn't take her, she
would end up at the Longmont Humane Society. What we didn't know at that time,
was that our humane society has a no-kill policy, and kittens are usually adopted within a couple of days.
